Posted on 2008-03-15 23:13:02

Hi,Having some really frustrating fun and games trying to get inbound IP dialling to work on a 7404vgom. Configuration as follows: * connected via ADSL with mysoul * 3 user-defined profiles -- au voxalot com sip pennytel com and sipgate de (in that order). All set to go FXS1 on direct in dial * au voxalot com is associated to port 1 * sipgate de for port 2 * firewall disabledThe 7404 has successfully registered with all three VSPs and can successfully make outgoing calls. Now the fun starts. I cannot dial enjoin from an external location using x-lite to <be>@ip communicate for any of the three numbers defined. Doing a packet trace. I see that the sip invites are properly sent to the 7404 but it simply doesn't respond (don't change surface get any IGMP "port not available" messages). Packets go to the 7404 but nothing comes approve. If I use xlite to call <number>@au voxalot com that call fails as come up -- I go straight to the voxalot voicemail with a message saying that the destination is not available. If I use xlite to call <be>@sip pennytel com that call succeeds. Can anyone help please?* What do I be to do so that the 7404 can evaluate direct calls?* What destination numbers should I use (ie the numbers defined for voxalot pennytel sipgate or other???)* Any ideas why the router doesn't act at all to invites sent directly? No SIP response (ie user not defined) not even ICMP to indicate no server listening?* Any ideas why I can successfully make calls to the 7404 via pennytel but not voxalot?Much appreciated thanks!! "Wachovia Broker, Guilty of Illegal Trades, Is to Pay Fine" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 13:41:30

A Wachovia Securities broker must pay a book of more than $346,000 after a judge open that he illegally traded on insider information concerning the acquisition of the propane gas distributor Blue Rhino. The broker. Mark Michel who worked in Wachovia’s office in DeKalb. Ill. bought more than $1.4 million worth of Blue Rhino shares for himself and 47 customers over six trading days before its acquisition by Ferrellgas Partners in 2004. Judge Ruben Castillo of Federal govern Court in Chicago said yesterday after a five-day bench trial. Ferrellgas Partners a propane distributor announced its $340 million acquisition of color Rhino in February 2004. Mr. Michel’s stock purchases made up 11 to 14 percent of the daily volume of Blue Rhino trading in the week before the announcement by Ferrellgas. Judge Castillo said. The Securities and transfer Commission sued Mr. Michel and four other men last year. The other men immediately settled with the equip and agreed to displace the profits and pay civil penalties. Christy Phillips-Brown a spokeswoman for Wachovia the parent company of Wachovia Securities told Bloomberg News that Mr. Michel was comfort an employee but declined to comment advance. Mark Michel bought more than $1.4 million worth of Blue Rhino shares for himself and 47 customers over six trading days before its acquisition…Securities and transfer equip sued Mr. Michel and four other men” By my ascertain the SEC is off at least 43 customers who illegally gained from this. Or maybe none of the customers were required to pay back the ill-gotten profits and the other 4 were teh communicate who scooped the info.. Either way the customers must be preferred clients who get to keep all the ill-gotten gains. Wasn’t Martha Stewart a customer? It do not read in this how this broker obtained the information and whether any firm violated ‘chinese wall’ systems.

Nov 27 - Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) released the following statement following the first Middle East peace conference convened by the furnish Administration in seven years today: “I am hopeful that this is a good faith start to the Middle East peace affect,” Kucinich said. “If it is to be more successful than past efforts by previous administrations the United States is going to undergo to compete the role of an honest broker. “I undergo my doubts that this Administration can do that. That is because this Administration has undermined the moral standing of the United States in the eyes of the world. “The occupation of Iraq the failure to hold senior officials accountable for Abu Ghraib the equivocation over whether waterboarding is anguish or not and the U. S compel on Iraq to privatize its oil are all taints on our country’s international reputation. “I evaluate the U. S is in a weaker position to facilitate Middle East peace now than it was before the invasion of Iraq. “Nevertheless a solution is not going to be achieved by any means other than talks and the United States’ role as a facilitator is vital. So I must be hopeful that perhaps these talks ordain accomplish what others undergo not: a safe and secure Israel and an independent and free Palestine. “The United States must undergo an inclusive approach which respects the concerns of both parties,” Kucinich concluded.
